AES Brazil Expo 2011 breaks record of visitors

Having received 6500 visitors during its 3 day event, AES Brazil Expo 2011 confirms its track record of sucess in its 15th edition. Along with the exhibit of industry´s major companies and brands, with hundreds of new products and solutions for the public (check our YouTube channel, click here), the digital consoles demo room and compact loudspeakers demo hall were unprecedented initiatives that had significant visitation.

Crowded and standing room was the norm during the three days of the training and conferences of the Expo, This edition´s keynote speakers presented, among others, Leonard Paul, talking about audio for games, exploring an area that is still in its beginnings in Brazil; Greg Looper, audio engineer for Tom Petty; with extensive live sound experience; Mark Ureda, renowned audio researcher and worldwide president of JBL Professional and the SynAudCon seminar taught by Pat Brown, the absolute reference in the area.

In partnership with Embrasec, AES Brazil Expo also helped promote for the first time the Brazil Radio Show, the largest gathering of professionals from the radio media, with great personalities of the area, such as Heródoto Barbeiro, Tereza Cruvinel, José Roberto Garcez and Lula Vieira, among others.

In all they were three days of discussions, knowledge exchange, exhibition, demonstration, product launches, new partnerships and business opportunities.
